The Health Ministry is proposing to extend the closure and the shuttering of Ben Gurion Airport until February 7, after Defense Minister Benny Gantz announced that he will support the opening shops from Thursday in cities where the infection rate is low and medium.
In addition, the Health Ministry is asking the government to approve a law that would see any anyone returning to Israel from overseas enter isolation in a hotel.
