The Health Ministry Wednesday evening reported 2,547 new coronavirus diagnoses since midnight, raising the national caseload to 169,352.
Also reported were 11 virus-related fatalities, putting Israel's death toll at 1,163.
Out of the 45,145 patients currently battling the disease, 551 are in serious condition, with 137 connected to ventilators.
