Deri says deal with Hamas should've included return of bodies, POW

Interior Minister Aryeh Deri on Tuesday said he regrets that Israel reached an agreement with Hamas without demanding the release of its POWs as well as the bodies of soldiers held by the terror group in the Gaza Strip.
"This was an excellent opportunity and it is a great pity that it was missed," said Deri, who is also a member of Israel's cabinet. "Sshowing humanity towards Hamas and responding to its requests has not proven itself as effective so far."
