A senior government official said on Wednesday that due to the dramatic surge in the coronavirus infection rate, the government is set to announce limited closures on some localities and neighborhoods where a large number of virus cases have been reported.
The official said that the government currently discusses only broader measures such as reducing the number of guests at events, but further moves could be approved as early as Wednesday night.
