Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet said in a joint statement with Malaysia and Thailand that "the meeting was very good, with hope that it will end the fighting." He added: "Thank you to the Chinese government for its efforts in the process and deep appreciation to U.S. President Donald Trump for his determined mediation. I believe in today's outcome, it will provide many opportunities for hundreds of thousands of people on both sides to return to normalcy."
