The search continues for Shlomi Banai, a 38-year-old reservist from Tel Aviv who went paddleboarding yesterday afternoon near Kibbutz Ginosar on the Sea of Galilee – and has been missing since. His friends, along with police and fire and rescue forces, are conducting extensive searches. His friends wrote in a Facebook post: "If you can simply come and help - we need you." His older sister Mia said that her brother went out paddleboarding yesterday at 12:00, "and at 13:00 they found the paddleboard at Ginosar intact but the rope was torn. There was a strong westerly wind yesterday and apparently he was swept west and north."
