U.S. President Donald Trump issued an ultimatum to Iran, threatening that if it does not open the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, he will "destroy" its power stations. "If Iran does not fully open, without threat, the Strait of Hormuz, within 48 hours from this exact point in time, the United States of America will strike and destroy its various power stations, starting with the largest one!" Trump wrote on his social network Truth Social.
