Report: Iran ready for significant reduction in uranium enrichment to prevent sanctions

British newspaper "The Telegraph" reported that Iran is ready to significantly reduce its uranium enrichment level to prevent Britain from reimposing sanctions. According to the report, Iranian sources said Tehran is willing to soften the hard line it has taken also to prevent further attacks from Israel and the U.S. The report also states that Ali Larijani, secretary of the National Security Council in the Islamic Republic, is trying to lead an effort to convince the government to lower the enrichment level from 60% to 20%. "He is trying to prevent another war," a senior Iranian official told "The Telegraph."
