Michel Iluz, whose son Guy was kidnapped, killed and is being held in Gaza Strip, addressed the planned Gaza Strip conquest approved by the Security Cabinet at the Hostages Square in Tel Aviv, stating that 'the Israeli government is about to launch a military operation that could endanger the hostages' lives. This is clearly an illegal order under military law, and therefore must not be obeyed.' He added, 'We cannot allow the government to launch another operation where more soldiers will fall, more soldiers will be wounded, and more hostages will be killed. And all for what? Just to stay in power.'
