German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt arrived in Israel and met with Foreign Minister Gideon Saar, marking the first diplomatic visit following the conclusion of Operation 'Lion's Heart.' The two toured the Iranian missile impact site in Bat Yam. In a joint statement, Saar called on the E-3 countries — Britain, Germany and France — to activate the 'snapback' mechanism, reinstating sanctions that were lifted from Iran. Dobrindt said: "We must support Israel in the fight against terrorism. There is no justification for attacks on civilian populations."
