Eitan Levy is the third casualty identified at the Institute of Forensic Medicine. The Families of Hostages Headquarters stated that "Eitan was a warm and loving family man. He was responsible and dedicated to every place he went - everyone testified to his great kindness." Eitan was classified as out of contact for over 40 days until he was declared kidnapped, and after 62 days the military officially notified the family that Eitan was considered a kidnapped casualty in the Gaza Strip.
