Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez attacked Israel amid the war in the north, claiming that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "wants to sow destruction in Lebanon as in Gaza." Sánchez, who appeared before the lower house of the Spanish parliament, also referred to Iran's new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei. He claimed that Khamenei the son is "a dictator equal to his father — and an even more bloodthirsty tyrant than him."
