Senior Hamas official Sami Abu Zahari told the Turkish news agency Anatolia that "the negotiations on the cease-fire in the Gaza Strip have reached a critical stage due to Netanyahu's stubbornness on continuing the war and holding on to control of the Netzer and Philadelphi Corridors." According to him, "the U.S. is adopting Israel's position which is interfering with the cease-fire".
