The IDF is expected to receive a large, concentrated shipment of more than 3,000 munitions from the United States in the coming days, as part of preparations for continued operations in the Gaza Strip, Israeli officials said Monday.
According to information obtained by Ynet, the U.S. administration recently approved the delivery, which is intended to enhance the Air Force’s readiness for a broad offensive in Gaza, planned under the direction of the IDF Southern Command.
In addition to the upcoming shipment, Israel is also set to receive more than 10,000 additional aerial munitions to replenish stockpiles depleted during the past year and a half of prolonged, multi-front war.
