The Health Ministry said on Wednesday that 6,310 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed on Tuesday after 57,708 tests conducted indicating a 10.93% positivity rate.
The R factor indicating the spread of the virus in the community inches upwards and stands on 0.9
There are 335 people hospitalized in serious condition with COVID complications, 151 of them on ventilators.
Since the start of the pandemic, 2,143 have succumbed to the virus
