IDF says struck Hezbollah targets in Lebanon in retaliation for rocket fire

The IDF said Monday evening that Israeli fighter jets struck Hezbollah operational command centers and terrorist infrastructure in response to the rocket launches from Lebanon toward Israel throughout the day.
Additionally, Israeli forces struck a terrorist cell near the northern border community of Metula.
The army also added that after sirens warned of a potential hostile aircraft infiltration in northern Israel in the afternoon, a projectile was identified landing in an open area near Misgav Am. An interceptor was also launched at a "suspicious target." No aircraft has breached Israeli airspace in the incident.
