Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit submitted his opinion to the High Court, regarding the decision not to award Prof. Oded Goldreich the Israel Prize in mathematics and computer science, after he called on the EU to halt funding for an Israeli university located in the West Bank.
According to Mandelblit, there is insufficient evidence regarding Prof. Goldreich's actions to disqualify his candidacy for the award.
