Two BDS activists arrested in Hebron Hills firing zone, deported from Israel

Judea and Samaria police arrested two tourists, BDS activists from Sweden and Ireland, who entered a firing zone near the settlement of Avigayil in the Hebron Hills, and they were deported from Israel. According to police, they were arrested on suspicion of violating a military order and engaging in anti-Israeli activity and were instructed to appear for a hearing at the Immigration Office at Ben Gurion Airport, where their deportation was ordered. One of the activists announced she would appeal the decision, and both were transferred to Givon detention facility pending their departure or appeal hearing.
