Israel should take whatever action serves its national interest, according to Dr. Gerald Steinberg, president of NGO Monitor.
Speaking to ILTV News, he said: “Israel has to decide – the Israeli government, not just the prime minister, but together – and lead the Israeli consensus into taking action that will serve Israeli security.”
Steinberg added that Israel will have to deal with any diplomatic fallout as it arises.
