Israel to deduct NIS 597 million from money bound for the PA

Israel will deduct NIS 597 million from the tax money it collects and transfers to the Palestinian Authority for exports from Gaza.
The decision was made following a report by the Defense Ministry which states that in 2020 the PA transferred the same amount to terrorists imprisoned in Israel as salaries.
