The IDF and ISA on Thursday struck "prominent terrorists" who were in a Hamas command and control center in the area of Gaza City, according to a statement from the IDF Spokesperson's Unit and Shin Bet spokesperson. The command and control center had been used by the terrorists to plan and execute attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF troops, according to the statement, which added that: "Prior to the strike, numerous steps were taken to mitigate harm to civilians including the use of aerial surveillance and additional intelligence."
