National Security Adviser Eyal Hulata traveled to Washington on Wednesday and met with his American counterpart Jake Sullivan.
According to a statement by the Israeli National Security Council, which Hulata heads, the two discussed a variety of global issues and "issues of common concern".
The communique further stated that Sullivan stressed U.S. President Joe Biden's ironclad commitment to Israel's security, and his commitment to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear arms.
