Former Supreme Court President Aharon Barak said in a pre-recorded speech at a demonstration in Tel Aviv's Habima Square that "we are no longer a liberal democracy, and this did not happen in a dramatic and one-time event. This is a process in which essential aspects of democracy are under severe attack and democracy is weakening."
