Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar presented his sworn affidavit to the Supreme Court on Monday, responding to the efforts of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to oust him from office. Bar said the prime minister repeatedly asked that the security agency surveil and inform on anti-government protesters, ahere to Netanyahu and not the courts and asked Bar to declare that Netanyahu was unable to testify in his criminal trial for security reasons.Bar told the court he would be announcing when he intends to step down.
