A 6-month-old baby was hospitalized on Thursday in serious condition after testing positive for the coronavirus.
The toddler was hospitalized at Sheba Medical Center and connected to an ECMO machine.
The baby reportedly is exhibiting symptoms similar to others who have recovered from coronavirus, known as PIMS, or pediatric inflammatory multisystem syndrome, with a persistent fever and serious inflammation.
