An IDF spokesman reported that soldiers operating in the northern Gaza Strip identified suspicious figures moving hundreds of meters near them in the buffer zone near the border with Israel. The soldiers oved forward with military vehicles and fired warning shots, according to the IDF. Following the gunfire, several hits were identified and those approaching the buffer zone area fled.
