The Nature and Parks Authority reported that approximately 10,000 dunams were damaged in the Judean Hills area due to the fires, both in open areas and in the KKL-JNF forests, of which approximately 2,000 dunams were in the Judean Mountains National Park. The Authority also estimates that approximately 250 dunams were burned in the Gibton Springs Nature Reserve, all within the reserve area.
