Antisemitic leaflets were distributed in the Hendon neighborhood of northwest London, home to a large Jewish population. The flyers bore messages such as "Zionist-free zone" and "Every Zionist must leave Britain or be slaughtered," written in botched Hebrew.
The local Jewish community expressed concern about the threats being carried out. "This is not just another wave that will pass if we remain passive," warned StandWithUs UK's CEO Isaac Zarfati in an interview with GB News. “We must take those threats and statements seriously because they will one day turn into actions, and decisive steps are needed to combat this alarming phenomenon.”
Zarfati, who leads an organization focused on educating about Israel and countering misinformation that could fuel antisemitism, added, “We are witnessing a troubling trend of red lines being repeatedly crossed."
The organization’s leaders pledged continued support for the Jewish community during these challenging times, saying, "British Jews will not be intimidated by such behavior."
A Jewish resident of north London, speaking anonymously to GB News, said, "These flyers were provocative and incited hate towards the Jewish community. Whoever made these should feel the full force of the law for the safety of our Jewish communities.”

This isn’t the first time the local Jewish community has been targeted. Prior to Yom Kippur, antisemitic messages, including "Heil Hitler" and Nazi swastikas, were etched into the large golf course in the borough.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan condemned the golf course vandalism at the time, saying, "I’m sickened by the rise in antisemitism in our city. Hate crime is a criminal offense and has no place in London."
