Health officials on Tuesday decided not to vaccinate children who had recovered from COVID yet, due to lack of information on the Omicron variant of coronavirus.
The officials said that parents of children who recovered from the virus more than three months ago and wish to vaccinate their children, will be able to do so.
The Health Ministry decided to form a committee to decide on vaccinating children under the age of five in special circumstances.
