The IDF issued a response Tuesday regarding a report issued by State Comptroller Matanyahu Englman regarding the country's northern border prior to the war. “The findings in the report refer to a review conducted before the war in July 2023 and do not reflect the current reality on the ground,” the IDF said.
The military added that it is “constantly prepared for a range of extreme scenarios through drills involving significant force deployment to ensure optimal readiness for various events. Existing posts have been renovated and additional positions have been constructed.”
