Defense Minister Benny Gantz on Wednesday said that only the IDF is authorized to decides on rules of engagement of its troops.
"The chief of staff has and will continue to decide on the rules of engagement according to the military needs and the need to preserve morality, those rules are maintained diligently and the IDF and its forces have the full backing to protect the lives of Israelis," Gantz said.
