Rocket sirens blared on Wednesday across southern Israel as a wave of rocket fire from Gaza was intercepted by Iron Dome defense systems in Sderot, Ashkelon, and other Israeli cities near the Gaza border.
Sirens were also heard in central Israel’s Tel Aviv, Bat Yam, Holon and Rishon LeZion, with residents reporting of rocket interceptions by the Iron Dome systems. No injuries were reported as a result of the missile fire.
