Israel sees over 7,000 daily virus cases in new record since resurgence of pandemic

The Health Ministry reported that 7,177 Israelis have tested positive for coronavirus, the highest daily caseload recorded since the pandemic made its resurgence, which constitute 6.27% out of some 120,000 tests conducted.
There were 528 coronavirus patients hospitalized in serious condition, a slight decrease from 24 hours earlier, and 93 of them were connected to ventilators.
Since the beginning of August, 209 patients succumbed to complications of COVID-19, eight of them on Monday alone.
So far, 1,048,767 Israelis have received the third coronavirus vaccine dose.
