Israeli Air Force aircraft, including fighter jets, attack helicopters and remotely piloted aircraft, have struck more than 100 terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip over the past week, closely supporting ground forces, the IDF announced Wednesday evening.
"The aircraft and control units maintain direct communication with the maneuvering forces through the cooperation unit. The aircraft, under close guidance and direct contact with forces on the ground, eliminate armed operatives and terror hubs targeting our troops, while minimizing harm to non-combatants," the army said in a statement.
