The National Employment Service reported on Wednesday that 943 Israelis returned to work while 2,485 others filed for unemployment benefits.
Since the government began lifting some of the restrictions on the economy in mid-April, 416,393 Israelis returned to work while 199,701 others filed for unemployment.
There are currently 880,993 jobless in Israel, 568,964 of them are on unpaid leave.
The unemployment rate stands at 21.6%.
