A Golani Brigade officer was accidentally shot during a training exercise in Hebron. As a result of the injury, he is in serious condition, Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center said.
According to the medical center, the officer sustained a “complicated” injury to his hip, which required immediate surgery.
He has since been moved to the hospital’s intensive care unit, where he is unconscious and connected to a ventilator. His condition is stable, the hospital said.
