Police Commissioner Danny Levy held a meeting with Arab local authority heads at the national headquarters in Jerusalem. The police spokesperson said that 'the meeting discussed issues relating to strengthening security in the Arab street, ways of dealing with violence and crime phenomena and deepening cooperation between the police, local authority heads and various public representatives.' It was also reported that 'Levy emphasized the police's commitment to continue acting against crime organizations.' Among those who participated in the meeting were Chief Superintendent Maoz Ben Shabu, the officer in charge of crime in Arab society, and Chief Superintendent Ran Levy, head of the Community and Police Division.
