Soldiers injured in West Bank shooting attack identified

The two reserve soldiers who were seriously injured yesterday in the attack at the Reihan crossing in the northern West Bank are Alon Yifrach, 52, from Karnei Shomron, and Thomas Butler, 23, from Karmiel. They are hospitalized at Rambam Hospital in Haifa. Yifrach's son, Netanel, said: "My father was driving the car, Thomas was sitting next to him and two female soldiers were sitting behind him who were not injured. He took many bullets in his upper body, his left hand was shattered, and despite everything he did not lose his temper. He continued to drive with his right hand, drove to the nearest outpost - and thus saved everyone's lives."
