40% of COVID cases verified Wednesday under the age of 11

The Health Ministry reported Thursday that 40% of COVID cases verified the day prior were under the age of 11, and therefore cannot yet receive the COVID vaccine.
The ministry also reported that 1,296 students were diagnosed with COVID Wednesday, and that the contagion rate among students was 3.1% - slightly higher than the national average which currently stands at 2.3%.
