Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi and his Bahraini counterpart Abdullatif Al-Zayani met on Wednesday in Jerusalem. After the meeting, announced that embassies in each respective nation will be opened "as soon as possible."
"I was happy to transfer the Bahraini king's request to open an embassy in Israel and to announce that the request for an Israeli embassy in Manama has been approved," Al-Zayani said.
