Ministers to decide on re-opening airport to enable Israelis to vote in March elections

|
The coronavirus cabinet is scheduled to meet on Tuesday to decide on a planned re-opening of the international airport ahead of the March 23 elections.
Ministers failed to agree on the matter on Monday.
Since the closure of the airport to international flights in January, many Israelis were unable to return. A government committee set up to grant permits to enter the country has come under fire for preferring the requests of Haredi Israelis.
