Protesters against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem encountered violence by passers-by who threw eggs, tomatoes and eggplant at teh demonstrators.
Ofri Erlich, one of the protesters, told Ynet that "the hardest thing is watching 8 and 10-years-old kids washed with hate."
Erlich added, "We called the police an hour ago and there is was no answer. We suffered a barrage of dozens of vegetables from the social refrigerator, eggplant and bananas. "
