A four-year-old girl was critically wounded by gunfire in the Isawiya neighborhood in East Jerusalem on Thursday.
She was evacuated to the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, and admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit. She is currently anesthetized and receives respiratory aid using a ventilator.
In the Shuafat neighborhood, a 3-year-old boy was lightly hurt in a different shooting incident. Police are investigating both incidents.
