Labor-Meretz on Sunday named Blue & White leader Benny Gantz as its choice to form the next government.
Gesher leader Orly Levy was absent and announced she would not support any candidate.
Labor Chairman Amir Peretz said that although only both his Labor, and Meretz faction were present, the union with Levy's Gesher was still valid.
