The terrorist who carried out Tuesday’s deadly attack at the Tayasir checkpoint in the northern West Bank was identified as Mohammad Daraghmeh, the brother of Ahmad Daraghmeh, the commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s Tubas Battalion who was killed by Israeli forces a year ago, according to Palestinian sources.
The attack killed two Israeli reservists Sergeant Major (res.) Ofer Yung, 39, and Sergeant Major (res.) Avraham Tzvi “Tzvika” Friedman, 43, and wounded eight other soldiers.
