Syrian regime forces clashed with residents of the Druze city of Jaramana, near Damascus, Saturday night following an Israeli warning against harming the local population.
The confrontations erupted after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz announced they had instructed the IDF to protect the city’s residents, saying, “If the regime harms the Druze, we will harm it.”
