Arab reports: Khan Younis Brigade commander confirmed dead

Sources told the Saudi TV channel Al-Hadath that "the commander of the Khan Younis Brigade, Rafa Salama, was killed in an attack in Al-Mawasi near Khan Younis." The IDF confirmed that Salama was the target of the assassination attempt in southern Gaza, alongside the commander of the military wing of Hamas, Muhammad Deif.
