Israel sees more than 8,000 new coronavirus cases in past day

The Health Ministry on Tuesday said that 8,308 people tested positive for coronavirus on Monday.
After 111,000 coronavirus tests conducted, the positivity rate stood on 7.6%.
There are currently 772 people hospitalized inn serious condition with COVID-19, 179 of them on ventilators.
Since the start of the pandemic, 3,445 Israelis have succumbed to the virus.
