Netanyahu speaks with parents of hostage Edan Alexander after Hamas video

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke Saturday evening with the parents of Israeli-American hostage Edan Alexander following the release of a Hamas propaganda video that included proof of life from their son, his office said in a statement.
Netanyahu expressed solidarity with Yael and Adi, the parents of the 20-year-old Golani Brigade soldier who was abducted on Oct. 7 and has been held in Gaza ever since. The prime minister told the family that “a tremendous effort is underway at this very moment to bring Idan and all our hostages home,” according to the statement.
