The Administrative Court rejected the petition of the Gaza Division intelligence officer during the October 7 massacre, Lt. Col. A., against the process of releasing him from permanent service in the IDF, ruling that the examination of his dismissal from the military should continue. According to the IDF, following investigations that were conducted, the Chief of Staff decided that several senior commanders bear command responsibility for the events of the massacre, and that command measures should be taken against them. Lt. Col. A. is among these commanders, and therefore, in accordance with the court ruling, the military will continue the process of releasing him from his commitment.
